Sevla Serbest has over 13 years of human resources (HR) experience. She has worked in HR roles across various industries including the complex digital, e-commerce and tech companies in Turkey and Dubai/UAE. She has developed and implemented full cycle HR strategies for recruitment, onboarding, feedback system, incentives and rewards, performance management, coaching, learning and development, employeeengagement, employer branding, retention and organizational change.
She is working in Modanisa as Director of People right now and she is responsible for building data-driven, agile, people focused approach and creating great employee experience. She is providing strategic direction and input to business leaders regarding overall Human Resources strategies and planning the services and programs that support the culture, company direction, and the growth needs of the business and employees. She acts as a partner and work with both C-level executives, technical andnon-technical managers to attract, engage and retain the world-class teams with proven coaching and mentoring skills.
Sevla was born in 1981 in Istanbul, Turkey. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Guidance and Psychological Counseling from Bogazici University in 2005 and completed her master’s degree in the same department in 2010. She completed her ICF Accrediated Coaching Program (ICF and FCPC) in Flow Coaching. Sevla also attended Business Strategy for HR Leader certification program in Insead in France.
